This was a birthday cake for my Mother in Law - the roses are fondant - everything is edible - this is one of my favorite cakes - just cute, and simple. The colors Popped with the dark choc. fondant!

- I am a wife, mom, Labor & Delivery RN, secretary for my husband, friend...and someone who loves cake! I started doing cakes in Aug 2010. I have searched hi and lo for the best cake recipie - my husband has engraved in me, that even if a cake looks pretty, it has to taste GOOD! So that has been my goal with cake, icing, and fondant - I make everything from scratch. And I think after having many taste tests and reviews from friends and family, there are some good recipies I have found and will keep forever! They get rave reviews!
