This was my first attempt at a fondant cake.....after NO classes, NO DVDs, NO youtube videos.....I was so proud of myself...haha. Now I look at this cake and am like wow sara, that was not so cute! But it too, marks a true life lesson - we are never perfect, nor ever will be, and there is always room for improvement. And I can look at this cake and see where I have come! It was only a box cake and store bought icing, but I did make the marshmallow fondant, and color it myself. When I first told my husband I wanted to start decorating cakes, he didn't think I was crazy, he was very supportive, and I will never forget, his words, You will never know until you try it sara, Just do it. So that is what I did :)
